Our MH Heart and Vascular Institute in Tiffin is a leading center for cardiovascular care, committed to excellence and innovation. Due to our consistent growth and increasing patient volume, we are seeking a dedicated Advanced Practice Provider to join our highly productive cardiology practice.

We are looking for a skilled and motivated Advanced Practice Provider (APP) to join our cardiology team. The successful candidate will be an integral part of our practice, helping to manage an increasing volume of inpatient and emergency room consults, as well as follow-up appointments. This role will support our physicians by improving access to care for new and higher acuity patients, thereby enhancing the overall efficiency and quality of our practice.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Patient Care: Conduct follow-up appointments, initial consultations, and inpatient rounding.
  • Consult Management: Handle inpatient and ER consults efficiently to ensure timely care and patient satisfaction.
  • Scheduling: Assist in managing the physician’s schedule to accommodate new patients and address higher acuity cases.
  • Practice Support: Work with a 1:1 clinical medical assistant (CMA) to ensure seamless support and optimal patient care.
  • Practice Growth: Contribute to the growth of the practice while maintaining current practice volumes and quality standards.

 

Position Details:

  • Work Hours: 8 hour days.
  • Workload: Manage an active practice panel, including inpatient and ER consults.
  • Support: Dedicated CMA to assist with clinical duties.

 

Qualifications:

  • Education: Master’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., Nurse Practitioner, Physician Assistant).
  • Certification: Valid certification as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant.
  • Experience: Experience in cardiology preferred but not required.
  • Skills: Strong clinical skills, excellent communication, and the ability to work collaboratively with a dynamic team.
