Neonatal Nurse Practitioner / Physician Assistant (NNP Certification or Neonatology Residency Required)

  • Job Responsibilities: The APP provides healthcare to neonatal patients in the office and hospital with an emphasis on disease prevention, health promotion, health maintenance and supportive care. The APP works independently, as well as collaboratively, to diagnose, prescribe treatment, manage and evaluate patient care. The APP functions as an educator, healthcare resource, interdisciplinary consultant and patient advocate.
  • Primary care delivery site is hospital inpatient. Duties include high risk delivery attendance, resuscitation, core advanced  neonatal procedures.
  • Experienced and new graduate APP's - a new graduate Transition to Practice Program is provided, along with an individualized orientation for all new hires. 
  • Required: BLS and NRP, Neonatal PA residency completion

Required:

  • Bachelor Degree
  • One of: APRN, PA or PAC

Desired:

  • Two years clinical experience
  • Advanced Practice Registered Nurse OR Physician Assistant (State) OR Physician Assistant Certification (National)
