Clinical Nurse Manager

Job Summary

The Clinical Manager supervises the day-to-day activities of a healthcare facility by handling both medical and administrative tasks. The clinical manager's primary duties include coordination of patient care, staffing/scheduling of clinical staff, recruitment and training of new team members, and staff supervision and oversight.

Supervisory Responsibilities
•Supervise Certified Medical Assistants and LVNs in each clinic location. Clinical Manager will be responsible for multiple locations within the region.

Duties/Responsibilities
• Responsible for clinical staffing which include interviewing, selection, and training in
conjunction with Human Resources.
• Responsible for leadership of the clinical staff at a given location/s. Includes performance
management, employee engagement, staff development, monitoring time and attendance
and approving all time off request.
• Perform annual skills check off for all clinical staff
• Serves on committees, attends meetings and continuing education to maintain awareness
of clinical techniques and procedures.
• Maintains adequate levels of approved supplies and equipment including ordering vaccines
and immunizations.
• Assist Office Manager with new physician Onboarding to include appropriate staffing levels
for practice.
• Track all CMA and LVN certifications and licensures and ensure they are uploaded into the
HRIS/HCM system for compliance.
• Prepare and maintain clinical staffing schedules and arrange for call coverage.
• Identify and implement processes that aide efficiency and productivity of the practice

Required Skills/Abilities
•Follows organization and OSHA safety rules and procedures
•Upholds HIPAA/PHI regulations
•Punctual and dependent for assigned shifts

Education and Experience
High School Diploma or equivalent required
Associates degree preferred
LVN licensure required
CPR certification preferred
Proficient interpersonal relations and communication skills
5+ years' experience in a healthcare environment
5+ years' experience in a leadership role

Physical Requirements
Office environment
Sitting, standing, walking and/or moving up to 8 hours per day
Lifting up to 25 pounds
