Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA)

Join the prestigious University of Vermont Medical Center (UVMMC) Anesthesiology Team as a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA). In this role, you will administer anesthesia, provide patient assessments, and collaborate on anesthesia care plans. Your role requires cognitive, technical, and administrative skills to deliver exceptional care, ensuring patient safety, privacy, and adherence to confidentiality policies.

Responsibilities:

- Administer anesthesia as per the defined scope of practice.

- Assess patients and assist in developing anesthesia care plans.

- Demonstrate excellence, caring, safety, and cooperation in all patient interactions.

- Maintain awareness of patient rights and confidentiality policies.

- Assist in OR teaching of medical students and SRNA students.

 

Education Requirements:

- Bachelor’s degree in a healthcare field.

- Master’s degree in Anesthesiology from an accredited program.

 

Experience:

- 1-2 years of relevant work experience preferred.

- New graduates are welcomed and encouraged to apply.

 

Compensation and Benefits:

- No weekday overnight call; weekend call coverage in the ORs with residents covering OB.
