Join Our Team as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant

Location: We have multiple centers throughout our CT side of the Nuvance Health/GoHealth UC market. We have two centers open now (Stamford and Norwalk) and will be expanding 3 more centers in Danbury, Brookfield, and Fairfield between August – September of 2024.

Who We Are:

 Nuvance Health, a top-tier healthcare provider, has teamed up with GoHealth Urgent Care to establish a network of cutting-edge urgent care centers. We are looking for skilled Nurse Practitioners and Physician Assistants with experience in urgent care or emergency medicine to join our dynamic team.

Your Role:

• Deliver a wide range of clinical services, including treating conditions like sore throats, colds, flu symptoms, cuts, sprains, and minor infections.
• Utilize excellent assessment skills to identify serious conditions and refer patients to emergency care when necessary.
• Strive to provide an exceptional patient experience.

What You Bring:

• Experience: At least 1 year of full-time work in an Urgent Care or Emergency Medicine setting as an NP or PA. Primary Care candidates must be licensed to see all ages and be familiar with walk-in visits.
• Patient Care: Proficiency in treating both children and adults.
• Technical Skills: Competence in performing minor procedures (sutures, casts, splints) and reading EKGs and X-rays.
• Certification:
  • For Physician Assistants: A Master’s degree and NCCPA Certification.
  • For Nurse Practitioners: A Master’s degree and certification from AANC or AANP.
