The Department of Orthopedics at Banner Health and Banner Medical Group (BMG) is seeking a highly motivated Physician Assistant to join our team of Orthopedic Surgeons in Payson, AZ. This is a robust and busy practice providing care to a varied group of patients with general orthopedic and total joint surgical needs. Our PA will round on patients on the hospital floor; see patients in the orthopedic surgery clinic and provide surgical first-assist in the OR. The ideal candidate will be detail oriented, a critical thinker, with an ability to work in a fast-paced environment and work effectively within a team.

We are seeking applicants with:

• Graduate of an approved Physician Assistant Program
• Certification from The National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA)
• Must have an unrestricted PA license in the state of AZ or eligibility to obtain by hire date
• DEA with full prescriptive authority required
• BLS and ACLS Certification required
• 1 - 3 years’ experience in a professional Physician Assistant role (Orthopedic/Surgical skill is a plus)

Practice Details:

• Full-time | M-F, 8 AM – 5 PM
• Provide clinic-based procedures and OR coverage
• PA will have a patient panel of new and existing patients
• Supportive and comprehensive team consisting of 2 physicians, 2 APPs, 4 MAs and a rad. tech.
• On-site Radiology
• Call: Practice Call only no Hospital Call
