Rheumatology Opportunity

We are seeking a Full-Time licensed Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our established Rheumatology care centers in Easton and Salisbury, MD. 

Our AARA care center has 3 Physicians, 2 Advanced Practice Providers, 8 exam rooms, a state-of-the-art Infusion Suite with 10 chairs, and a highly skilled and dedicated team. We offer multiple services including DEXA, X-Ray and management of osteoporosis and all rheumatologic conditions including Rheumatoid Arthritis, Psoriatic Arthritis, Lupus, Sjogren’s Syndrome, Scleroderma, Inflammatory Myositis, other auto inflammatory conditions, and more.

A Day in the life of a Rheumatology APP

Responsibilities:

  • Examine patients and their medical records
  • Order and study diagnostic tests (blood tests, X-rays etc.)
  • Diagnose and Propose treatments for autoimmune and arthritic diseases
  • Prescribe medications and IV Infusion Treatments
  • Maintain accurate records and schedules
  • Inform patients about their health conditions and prescribed medications
  • Educate patients and their family members on diseases and treatment plans
  • Oversee patients’ overall health
  • Promote good health practices
  • Advance professional knowledge and conduct research
  • Other duties as assigned by collaborating physician

Requirements:

  • New grads or experienced Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant in Rheumatology, Orthopedics, Internal Medicine are welcome to apply.
  • Willing to travel to two offices: Easton and Salisbury
  • Bilingual: Fluent in Spanish and English a plus
  • Joint Injection experience preferred
  • Knowledge of health and patient care regulations
  • Excellent communication skills, verbal, and written
  • Strong ethics, integrity, and reliable
  • Team player with a positive attitude, patience and optimism
  • Exhibits curiosity and a willingness to learn
  • Valid Maryland Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant & DEA license

Rheumatology Associates of Delmarva, also know as “RAD” has two offices conveniently located in Easton and Salisbury.

In 2020, the practice began doing business as Rheumatology Associates of Delmarva when Drs. MacLaughlin and Clayton became partners.  The Salisbury office opened in 2021 to offer consultation, management, and infusion services to lower Delmarva. Our patients come from all counties on the peninsula: from the Virginia Cape, Southern Delaware and all the way up to Maryland’s Kent County.

The practice has continued to grow steadily over the years. We are proud to call Delmarva our home and are committed to providing excellent rheumatology, osteoporosis, and infusion services for the entire peninsula.
