OPPORTUNITY HIGHLIGHTS

St. Peters Health Partners Medical Associates is seeking a full-time Physician Assistant to join the St. Peter's Health Partners Orthopedic Surgical PA Team located in Albany, New York. This opportunity is offering a 5k starting bonus, 5k retention bonus, and 5k in relocation assistance.

POSITION DETAILS:

  • Evaluate and manage fractures, dislocations, and other Ortho emergency cases
  • Interpret X-rays and CT scans and communicate finding with Ortho attending's
  • Perform H+P exams as required
  • Order and interpret appropriate labs and tests
  • Evaluate all inpatient Ortho consults
  • 1st and 2nd assist in the OR
  • Mix of spine, upper extremities, sports medicine, and total joints

Weekly schedule will include:

  • Schedule: Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM - 3:00 PM (or four 10-hour days)
  • No mandatory call required, but moonlighting shifts are available after 6-12 months of training.
  • Shift differential for evening, nights, weekends, and holidays
  • Potential for cross-coverage across SPHP after training, be credentialed for multiple local sites within SPHP.
  • Responsible for Pre/Post OP pt orders, Floor rounding and inpatient hospital management
  • ED 1st call for Ortho cases 

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Surgical experience preferred but willing to train interested candidates.
  • NYS licensure
  • DEA/Board Certification required.

  • 15k Bonus (5k Starting, 5k Retention, 5k Relocation *if live outside 50 miles of SPHP)
  • Compensation: $130,377-$149,934
  • Competitive salary including productivity and quality incentives.

  • CME time & expense allowance- $2,500 annually
