Certified Nurse-Midwife Hospitalist

We are seeking a dedicated Midwife to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will provide compassionate care to expectant mothers throughout their pregnancy, labor, and postpartum period.  Live one of the TOP 10 fastest growing cities in the country.  Fantastic public schools, family oriented and focused and all of the big city amenities within 15 minutes.  

Responsibilities:

• Proficient in medical terminology related to obstetrics and gynecology
• Ability to assess vital signs accurately and interpret results
• Knowledge of triage procedures in obstetric emergencies
• Competent in conducting physical examinations on pregnant women
• Familiarity with discharge planning for postpartum patients
• Skillful in suturing episiotomies or minor lacerations
• Provide professional care for delivery related services – mother and baby
• Provide guidance and support during labor and delivery
• Offer education on newborn care, breastfeeding, and postpartum care
• Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care for patients
• Participate in discharge planning and provide postpartum follow up care
• Strong patient care skills with a focus on communication and empathy

Qualifications:

• Experience working in a hospital or acute care setting
• Master's degree in Nursing is required
• Valid SC licensed RN/ARNP or eligibility for licensure as Nurse-Midwife/Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioner
• (CNM) Certified Nurse-Midwife
• BCLS and NRP
• 5 to 7 years of related experience preferred
