Advance Practice Provider - Join our ED team in Northern Michigan

UP Health System-Portage, located in Hancock, Michigan, is seeking a dedicated and skilled Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our growing team. This full-time, employed position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to our established healthcare community in the Upper Peninsula.

Position Details:

• Practice Setting: Single specialty with a team of 4 physicians.
• On-Site Services: Lab, Physical Therapy, Rehab, OT, and Cardio-Pulmonary Rehab all available.
• Emergency Services: ACS verified Level III trauma center with ATLS certification. Basic admission orders for hospitalists managed by Emergency Physicians from 5 pm - 7 am.
• Psychiatric Care: Managed by a 24-hour on-call Psych counselor/social worker; no inpatient psych unit.
• Technology: Meditech EMR, digital radiology, and ancillary services.
• Shifts: Monday to Friday, 1 pm to 9 pm.
