Rheumatology Opportunity

We are seeking two Full-Time licensed Nurse Practitioner to join our established Rheumatology care center in Orlando, FL just minutes away from Universal Studios, Orlando International Premium Outlets, and easy access to major highways such as I-4 and Florida's Turnpike. 

Our clinic has 3 locations with a total of 5 Physicians, 2 Nurse Practitioners, 4 exam rooms, a state-of-the-art Infusion Suite with 4 chairs, ultrasound guided injections, and a dedicated staff. We specialize in treating general Rheumatology, Rheumatoid Arthritis, Osteoarthritis, Psoriatic Arthritis, Gout, Osteoporosis, Lupus, Sjogren's Syndrome, Vasculitis, and more.

A Day in the life of a Rheumatology APP

Responsibilities:

  • Examine patients and their medical records
  • Order and study diagnostic tests (blood tests, X-rays etc.)
  • Diagnose and Propose treatments for autoimmune and arthritic diseases
  • Prescribe medications and IV Infusion Treatments
  • Maintain accurate records and schedules
  • Inform patients about their health conditions and prescribed medications
  • Educate patients and their family members on diseases and treatment plans
  • Oversee patients’ overall health
  • Promote good health practices
  • Advance professional knowledge and conduct research
  • Other duties as assigned by collaborating physician

Requirements:

  • Minimum 1yr experienced Nurse Practitioner in Rheumatology, Dermatology, Orthopedics, Orthopedic Surgery, Primary Care preferred.
  • Bilingual: Fluent in Spanish and English highly preferred
  • Joint Injection experience preferred
  • Knowledge of health and patient care regulations
  • Excellent communication skills - verbal and written
  • Strong ethics, integrity, and reliable
  • Team player with a positive attitude, patience and optimism
  • Exhibits curiosity and a willingness to learn
  • Valid Florida Nurse Practitioner & DEA license
