Full-time Inpatient PMHNP Position in Georgetown, TX | 30 miles N of Austin

Rock Springs Behavioral Health Hospital, a 72-bed facility in Georgetown, TX, is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner to join our dynamic inpatient team. As a PMHNP, you will provide comprehensive psychiatric evaluations, medication management, and therapeutic interventions to our adult and adolescent patients in a supportive and collaborative environment. Position Details: 

• Full-time M-F, 8am-4:30pm
• 1 weekend per month (rounding on inpatients)
• Support staff includes?Case Managers, Therapists, Nurses

Requirements:

• Master's or Doctorate degree in Nursing from an accredited program
• Current unencumbered Texas APRN license with Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner certification
• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a PMHNP preferred
• Strong diagnostic and assessment skills
• Ability to work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Qualifications:

• Demonstrated ability to provide evidence-based psychiatric care to adult patients with diverse mental health needs
• Proficiency in conducting psychiatric evaluations and formulating treatment plans
• Knowledge of psychopharmacology and ability to prescribe appropriate medications
• Commitment to providing compassionate and patient-centered care
• Ability to maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
