Excellent opportunity for a dynamic Physician Assistant or Acute Care Nurse Practitioner with interest in Orthopedic Hand Surgery to join our highly trained team of Orthopedic Surgeons at Banner Baywood Medical Center. We provide care to a varied group of patients with orthopedic hand surgical needs. Our PA/ACNP will round on patients on the hospital floor; see patients in the orthopedic surgery clinic and provide surgical first assist in the OR. Qualified candidates must have the ability to work in a fast-paced environment and work effectively within a team. 

Requirements:

• Board Certification as a Physician Assistant or Acute Care Nurse Practitioner
• Licensed or eligible to be licensed in the state of AZ
• Current prescribing privileges including a DEA license for controlled substance
• Experienced APP with Orthopedic skill preferred; however, new graduates will be considered
• ACNP is required to have RNFA certificate at the time of application
• Current BLS & ACLS

Practice Details:

• Full-time | M-F, 8 AM – 5 PM
• Surgical/Clinical position: 3 days of Clinic, 2 days of OR
• Call: Practice Call only no Hospital
• Practice includes: two surgeons, six APPs, dedicated MA & excellent support staff
