Family Medicine APP (NP or PA) in Redwood Falls, MN

CentraCare is hiring a Family Medicine Advanced Practice Provider (Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant) to work with our team at the CentraCare Redwood Falls clinic.  This position is open to new graduates with the licensure to see patients of all ages.

Responsibilities

Our primary care providers diagnose and treat short-term illness; provide preventive care including routine checkups, health-risk assessments, immunization and screening tests; offer personalized counseling on maintaining a healthy lifestyle; and manage and coordinate care for those with chronic conditions.  Provider will see patients of all ages from newborns through advanced age, carrying their own panel with a rotation into Same Day clinic setting in Redwood Falls. (TiCP program in place). 

Schedule

• 8 – 1.0 FTE
• Monday through Friday day clinic hours; no evenings or holidays
• Rotation into Saturday morning clinic (approximately 1:8)

Requirements

Eligibility for the position entails:

• Completion of a formal nurse practitioner or physician assistant program approved by a national accrediting agency
• Certified as a Nurse Practitioner or a Physician Assistant
• Current or pending licensure in the State of Minnesota, licensed to see pediatrics through geriatrics

• All applicants must have a current American Heart Association BLS Healthcare Provider card and Drug Enforcement Agency (DEA) registration number prior to receiving clinical privileges

Position open to new graduates.  Relevant work experience is one of the following areas helpful:

• Emergency Department
• Internal Medicine
• Pediatrics
• Walk-In Clinic/Urgent Care
