Excellent opportunity for a motivated and highly skilled Physician Assistant or Acute Care Nurse Practitioner w/RNFA Certificate to provide clinic, inpatient and OR first-assist coverage to support our highly trained General/MIS Surgeons in Fort Collins, CO.  Qualified candidates must have the ability to work in a fast-paced environment and work effectively within a team.

Qualifications:

• AGACNP/ACNP or PA-C
• AGACNP/ACNP w/RNFA Certificate required at time of application (Documentation of successful completion of surgical first assistant training as a part of curriculum in their nationally accredited nurse practitioner program OR Attendance at a surgical first assist training course sponsored by ACE, AORN, ANCC, or equivalent as approved by the facility Credentials Committee/Medical Executive Committee)
• Licensed in Colorado or eligible for licensure
• DEA with prescriptive authority
• 1 - 2 years’ experience in an APP role specific to General Surgery

Practice Details:

• 1.0 FTE
• Compensation: $120,000 - $140,000 (commensurate with experience)
• No Call | No Weekends | No Holidays
• Clinic 75% | OR/Surgical First Assist 25%
• Provide care from the initial patient point of contact to pre-surgical requirements, and post-op follow-ups
