Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant – Urology Opportunity

St. Peters Health Partners is seeking to recruit an Advanced Practitioner to join Capital Region Urology located in Albany, New York.

AP’s work with Urologists in the outpatient clinic. This role is full-time (Monday – Friday) with telephone call rotation. This position will treat adults of all ages. Specializing in the diagnosis and treatment of problems of the male and female urinary tract and the male reproductive organs, our urologists offer a full range of urological services in both the office and hospital settings.

The position responsibilities include:

• Monday through Friday schedule, dayshift
• Weeknight first call telephone 5-9pm Monday – Thursday, 1:11 call rotation
• Preoperative teaching for surgical patients undergoing radical surgery (on the job training)
• Postoperative care of surgical patients in the outpatient setting including complex oncologic cases.
• Routine urology follow-ups
• Participation in an Advanced Prostate Cancer Clinic
• Procedures in the office – no prior experience required (on the job training provided). 

REQUIREMENTS

Applicants should have the following:

• Interest and desire to work in a high-volume Urology program.
• Experience or clinical rotation in Urology preferred.
• NYS licensure
• DEA required
• Board Certification

RECRUITMENT PACKAGE

St. Peter’s Health Partners offers a comprehensive salary and compensation package that includes:

• Competitive salary with incentives
• Compensation is between $121,782 and $136,571
• The posted salary reflects the starting range of total compensation and does not include productivity bonuses, incentives related to quality and performance, extra shift incentives, and other forms of cash compensation as applicable to the position. In addition, providers typically receive a CME allowance and other benefits offered by their medical group employer. Please note that this salary range is provided in accordance with State law and is subject to variation due to the factors noted above.
