Overview

Unified Women’s Healthcare is the leading national platform for women’s healthcare. Our affiliated practice in Bradenton, FL, is seeking a Full Time Certified Nurse Midwife (CNM).  The practice welcomes new graduates and experienced candidates to apply.

 

Position Highlights:

  • Full service, state of the art, established practice with 3 MDs, 2 Nurse Practitioners, & 2 Certified Nurse Midwives
  • 15-30 deliveries per month as a group
  • Traditional model of OB deliveries and office
  • 4 day work week
  • 1:3 call schedule. CNM takes first call
  • Deliveries performed at Manatee Memorial Hospital
  • No high risk deliveries

Requirements:

  • AMCB Certified Nurse-Midwife 
  • Graduate of a nurse-midwifery education program accredited by ACNM Accreditation Commission for Midwifery Education (ACME)
  • Master's degree in Nursing (MS/MSN)
  • Active and unrestricted state registered nurse (RN) license
  • CPR and NALS Certification

  • Current Unrestricted DEA License or ability to obtain
  • One year of full-time experience as a CNM is preferred

  • There are over 20 miles of sandy white beaches on the west side of the city and Bradenton Riverwalk on the east side. 
  • Bradenton is rich in history and cultural arts and is home to "Village of the Arts", an eclectic live/work/play community with galleries, studios, restaurants, bakeries, specialty shops and healing art centers housed in colorfully restored 1920s & 1930s historic cottages.
