PA / Physician Assistant - Urology - Toledo, OH

ProMedica Physicians Urology is currently recruiting a Physician Assistant to join the practice in Toledo, Ohio.
 

Highlights:

  • Hours: Monday through Friday – Two shifts per week (one 25 hour shift, one 14 hour shift)
  • Inpatient position – assess, diagnose, and treat urologic issues in all areas of the hospital, including the ED
  • Manage post operative patients – both Pediatric and Adult
  • Assist with rounds, discharges, and floor work
  • Place difficult catheters and exchange SPT
  • Includes OR coverage (in the event of add-on cases after Residents leave for the day)
  • Work with:
    • Urology Residents
    • 10 ProMedica Genito-Urinary attendings
    • Pediatric Urologist
    • 2 inpatient PA’s
  • Large referral area encompasses 27-counties throughout northwest Ohio and southeast Michigan

Physician Assistant

  • Master’s degree 
  • Must be licensed or license eligible in the state of Michigan
  • PA-C
  • Certificate of Authority to practice is required.
  • Current CPR certification required.
  • Demonstrated excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Demonstrated excellent organizational skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage and prioritize multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
  • Must demonstrate and promote a strong commitment toward achieving customer/patient satisfaction.
  • Post offer pre-employment required to include drug screen
