Nurse Practitioner or Certified Nurse Midwife full time position available at private practice in Ocala, Florida!

Unified Women’s Healthcare is the leading national platform for women’s healthcare. Our affiliated practice M. DelCharco Jr., MD, LLC is seeking a Full Time Nurse Practitioner or Certified Nurse Midwife to join our well-established OB/GYN Woman's Healthcare practice. This position in mainly office OBGYN care, with no hospital deliveries. This is an excellent opportunity for ambitious practitioners to learn and assist in new technologies and procedures.

Position Highlights:

• Perform patient exams, screenings, treatments, and record patient health history
• Prescribe medications, therapies; order/perform and interpret diagnostic testing and procedures
• Provide pre and post-natal care, family planning services, and patient education and counseling
• Assist and work closely with physicians to provide patient care
• Call Schedule is very seldom via phone
• 40-hour work week: M-Th: 8:30am-5:00pm; Fri: 8:30am-12:00pm
• Patient Load: 22-25 patients per day
• Fully licensed medical team and support staff

Requirements:

• 2 years’ experience as an ARNP or CNM in a women’s health setting
• National Nurse Practitioner or Certified Nurse Midwife certification or ability to obtain
• Unrestricted, active licensure in the State or ability to obtain
• Current Unrestricted DEA License or ability to obtain
• CPR, BLS, and NALS Certification or ability to obtain
• Proficient in assessment and development of treatment plans
• Ability to communicate with patients, team members and management staff
• Ability to make care decisions based on the best medical practices without direct supervision or guidance by a physician
• One year of full-time experience as a Nurse Practitioner is preferred
