Job Description

Child Advocacy Provider Needed in Oregon

Our firm has been engaged by a Child Advocacy Center in Oregon to find a new medical provider for them. Physicians and NPs with family practice or pediatric training are encouraged to apply.

Why This Role Matters:

  • Critical Impact: Be at the forefront of child advocacy, providing essential medical care to children who have suffered abuse or neglect. Your work will be life-changing for these young patients and their families.
  • Full-Time Role with Work-Life Balance: Enjoy a manageable caseload with only 5-10 exams per week. This full-time position offers a rare combination of meaningful work with no night or weekend appointments.
  • Top Workplace: Join an organization that has been named one of Oregon’s Top 100 Nonprofits to Work for four years running, recognized for its supportive and collaborative work environment.
  • Unique Opportunity: This is the only clinic of its kind in the region, offering a unique chance to contribute to a vital service in the community.

Who We're Looking For:

  • Qualifications: Board-certified or board-eligible MD, DO, or NP in Family Practice or Pediatrics.
  • Experience: While experience in a Children's Advocacy Center or a similar setting is highly desirable, we welcome applicants who are passionate about this work and eager to make a difference, even if new to this field.
  • Passion: A deep commitment to working with children who have experienced trauma and a desire to be part of a multidisciplinary team dedicated to their well-being.

Why Eugene, Oregon?

  • Vibrant Community: Eugene, also known as "The Emerald City," is a thriving college town, home to the University of Oregon and the Oregon Ducks.
  • Quality of Life: Surrounded by lush green spaces, Eugene offers abundant outdoor activities, a vibrant arts scene, and a renowned craft beer, cider, and coffee culture.
  • Ideal Location: Eugene is just a short drive to both the stunning Oregon Coast and the picturesque Cascade Mountains, offering endless opportunities for outdoor adventures year-round.
