Job Description

PRN Certified Nurse Midwife (Obstetrics/Gynecology)

On an as-needed basis, the Certified Nurse Midwife will join Intermountain Nurse Midwives, located on Intermountain Medical Center campus in Murray, Utah. Our midwives provide comprehensive health care for women, with a particular emphasis on wellness and patient choice. We support women in their childbirth decisions, whether it’s an unmedicated birth or epidural anesthesia.

This CNM will provide both gynecologic & OB patient care in clinic, attend births, and round with mother/baby and antepartum patients in hospital. Our CNMs work at the top of their scope of licensure, admitting, caring for, and discharging patients from inpatient care. As a group practice sharing patients, we work in a highly collaborative model, consulting and collaborating with one another on a consistent basis.

This is a PRN opportunity, with shifts varying dependent on patient care, department needs, and the CNM's interest and availability. Will require some weekdays and weekends, days and nights. The CNM may also be requested to support rotating after-hours, weekend, and holiday call time. When taking inpatient duty, the CNM will be expected to attend births.

We highly prefer candidates with two or more years of CNM experience.
