Mercy Tiffin Primary Care is seeking a dedicated Advanced Practice Clinician (APC) to join our dynamic team. As a vital member of our healthcare family, you will play a crucial role in delivering exceptional patient care and promoting wellness within our community. Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide care for acute and chronic conditions, ensuring timely diagnosis, treatment, and management.
  • Conduct annual wellness visits, emphasizing preventive care and health promotion.
  • Perform point-of-care testing to facilitate rapid diagnostic assessments.
  • Conduct urinalysis testing to aid in the evaluation and management of various medical conditions.
  • Work Monday through Friday, maintaining office hours from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to optimize patient scheduling and ensure efficient clinic operations.

Education:

  • Possession of a Master's degree in Nursing or Physician Assistant Studies from an accredited program.
  • Current licensure as a Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) in the state of Ohio.
  • Certification as a Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) in the relevant specialty area (e.g., Family Practice, Adult-Gerontology, etc.).
  • Demonstrated proficiency in acute and chronic disease management, emphasizing evidence-based practice.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills enabling effective communication with patients, families, and colleagues.
  • Dedication to ongoing learning and professional development within the primary care field.
