Hospitalist - Nurse Practitioner & Physician Assistant

The Hospitalist Team at CentraCare- Monticello Hospital is hiring!

Position Details 

• 1.0 FTE, Monday- Friday 8:00am-4:30pm
• No weekends, call or holidays 
• Location: Primarily based at CentraCare- Monticello Hospital in Monticello, MN with minimal, intermittent, coverage at St. Cloud Hospital in St. Cloud, MN.

Position Responsibilities 

• Provide quality care for adult patients and families;
• Treat patients with diagnoses of chest pain, syncope, heart failure, pneumonia, nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, Epistaxis, COPD, dehydration, and Upper GI Bleed, etc.
• Serve as a resource to nursing, care management, spiritual care, and other patient care providers;
• Assess, plan, evaluate, implement, and coordinate care of adult patients under the direction of the hospitalist service;
• Engage in a collaborative practice with other hospitalist physicians and APPs on the team;
• Opportunity to participate in hospital-based committees (Medical Executive Committee, Infection Prevention, Peer Review, etc.) and quality improvement projects;

• 25-bed critical access hospital including Birth Center, Medical/Surgical Unit, Pediatrics, and ICU
• 10-bed Geriatric Behavioral Health Unit
• Extensive Outpatient Services: Level IV Emergency Department, Diabetes & Nutrition Education, Heart Care, Integrated Behavioral Health, Neurosurgery Care, Nephrology, Perinatology, Respiratory Care, Sleep Center, Surgical Services, Urology, Vascular Care, Weight Management, and Wound Care.

• Monticello Cancer Center with medical and radiation oncology care
