Summary

MyMichigan Health has an excellent opportunity for a dedicated Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join the growing Oncology Services in West Branch, Michigan!

-Full time, dayshift

-Monday-Friday

-100% outpatient

-No weekends or holidays

-No call

 

Responsibilities

-See patients on treatment for oncology and non-oncology therapies, acute visits for symptom management, and follow up patients that have completed treatment.

-Order and review imaging and laboratory testing

-Support the West Branch Infusion Center team

 

Certifications and Licensures

-AHA approved BLS Certification

 

Required Education

-Graduate of accredited Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner Program

-Three years of experience with oncology preferred, primary care or hospital medicine    experience will also be considered

 

Other Information

-Must exercise the highest degree of professional judgement under the direction of a licensed physician

-The initial training for this position will be at MyMichigan Medical Center Alpena

-Upon completion of training, this APP will have a strong sense of autonomy with seeing patients in West Branch and will have support from the MyMichigan Health Hematologists and Oncologists

-Employment is contingent on successful completion of MyMichigan Health’s credentialing process

                -Robust onboarding and training program
