Job Description:

Principle Responsibilities

  • Performs psychological evaluations, individual psychotherapy, and group psychotherapy.
  • Utilizes various empirically supported treatment modalities.
  • As a member of the inpatient treatment team, works with psychiatry, social work, nursing, clinical therapy and other disciplines to support patient recovery.
  • Utilize behavioral principles to address specific patient behaviors that interfere with treatment or impede discharge.
  • Meet requirements of third-party payers.
  • Coordinate treatment with other members of the inpatient treatment team and community agencies.
  • Reassess patient needs and progress per department policy/procedure.
  • May provide general consultations, staff training, and education on psychological topics to inpatient mental health staff and the greater Allina system.

Job Requirements

  • Doctoral/Ph.D. level advanced degree in Psychology or Counseling required
  • Exposure to or experience in inpatient treatment preferred

  • 2+ years in patient treatment in clinical setting preferred
  • Licensed Psychologist - MN Board of Psychology required upon hire and
  • BLS Tier 1 - Basic Life Support - Multisource preferred within 60 Days

Pay Range

Pay Range: $125,000 to $140,000 per year

The pay described reflects the starting base pay range, assuming a full-time FTE. Your starting rate will depend on a variety of factors including, but not limited to, your experience, education, and the union agreement (if applicable).
