OPPORTUNITY HIGHLIGHTS

St. Peter's Health Partners Medical Associates is seeking a full-time Advanced Practitioner to join St. Peter's Medical Oncology located in Albany, New York.

The Advanced Practitioner will provide inpatient consult services and work closely with an interdisciplinary team including a collaborating Hematologist Oncologist. Work schedule is Monday-Friday, 40 hours a week. At least one (1) year of previous experience is required.

About the Program:

St. Peter’s Medical Oncology/Hematology provides up-to-the-minute medical oncology services at St. Peter’s Hospital. The program takes pride in offering a treatment approach that is patient-centered and supported by a multidisciplinary team of cancer care specialists.

Our medical oncologists determine the appropriate drugs, dosage, and schedule for administration of these drugs (chemotherapy), and work in collaboration with surgeons and radiation oncologists to effectively combine chemotherapy with radiation therapy and other modalities for the best possible outcomes.

In most cases, our providers manage the patient's overall care. They have expertise in pain management, treatment of chemotherapy side effects and psychological care. St. Peter's cancer care program provides free cancer screenings, a breast navigation program, participation in clinical trials, cancer support groups, and a cancer registry program.

RECRUITMENT PACKAGE

St. Peter’s Health Partners Medical Associates offers an excellent compensation and benefits package that includes:

  • Competitive salary with incentives
  • Compensation is between $115,518 and $124,759*
  • *The posted salary reflects the starting range of total compensation and does not include productivity bonuses, incentives related to quality and performance, extra shift incentives, and other forms of cash compensation as applicable to the position. In addition, providers typically receive a CME allowance and other benefits offered by their medical group employer. Please note that this salary range is provided in accordance with State law and is subject to variation due to the factors noted above.
