Le Bonheur Children’s Hospital is a Magnet-designated facility and recognized among the nation’s “Best Children’s Hospitals” by U.S. News & World Report for 13 consecutive years. Le Bonheur is home to 20 state-of-the-art operating rooms, where our expert teams perform approximately 10,000 surgical cases for children annually. As the only American College of Surgeons (ACS) Level I Pediatric Trauma Center in the region, you will be exposed to a variety of cases here at Le Bonheur.
As a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist, you will work both autonomously and in collaboration with a variety of health care providers to deliver high-quality, holistic, evidence-based anesthesia and pain care services. Our CRNAs care for patients at all acuity levels in a variety of settings for procedures including, but not limited to, surgical, diagnostic and therapeutic.

Le Bonheur Children’s Hospital is a leader in pediatric clinical care and research and is the region’s premier teaching hospital for future pediatricians, pediatric surgical specialists, and clinicians. Our partnerships with the University of Tennessee Health Science Center and St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital have helped build a strong reputation for both teaching and discovery.
Le Bonheur broke ground on our new hospital in February 2008, and the new Le Bonheur Children’s opened in December 2010. The $340-million, 610,000-square-foot hospital doubled Le Bonheur’s previous space for patient care, research, and teaching. The new hospital is designed to serve the children of our area for the next 50 years and beyond. Everything from interior design to state-of-the-art technology is focused on one thing - providing exceptional care for children.
