Seeking Newborn Nursery Nurse Practitioner in South Florida, minimum 2 years of expeience required!

Join our dynamic team at Envision Physician Services as we seek a passionate full-time Neonatal Nurse Practitioner, Family Nurse Practitioner, or Pediatric Nurse Practitioner at the Wellington Regional Medical Center in beautiful Wellington, FL! Wellington Regional Medical Center offers advanced neonatal intensive care through a 25-bed Level III NICU.

  • Evidence-based care with well-established protocols and guidelines
  • Neonatologists attend all high-risk deliveries
  • Small baby focused care for 23 – 30 week premature infants

Opportunity Highlights:

  • Guaranteed base salary.
  • Start Date Bonus: $20K.
  • Work/life balance:
    • 8-hour daytime newborn nursery shifts
    • Rotating weekends
  • Staffing Model: 4.5 neonatologists offer in-house coverage 24/7, with 2.3 mid-level providers covering the NICU during the day and 1.5 mid-level providers covering the newborn nursery during daytime hours.
  • Benefits effective day 1, including medical, dental, vision, ST/LT disability, and 401k
  • CME allowance, cell phone reimbursement.
  • Malpractice insurance with tail coverage

Responsibilities:

  • Caring for full-term and late preterm infants in the newborn nursery. The neonatal team is responsible for all unassigned newborns.
  • Overseeing daily responsibilities in the Newborn Nursery
  • Attendance at high-risk deliveries

Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in nursing
  • Minimum of two years of experience in the NICU/newborn nursery
  • Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • Independent, autonomous, and strong clinical decision-making skills
  • Strong NICU experience and skill set
  • Self-confident
  • Team player with family focused attitude
