*flexible Scheduling-Neonatal Nurse Practitioner

Banner University Medicine Tucson is actively interviewing Neonatal Nurse Practitioners to join our Division of Neonatology at Banner - University Medical Center Tucson. This position is involved in supporting a team of clinical faculty and covering up to 20 patients on the residents-led team, and up to 16 patients on the NNP-led team. 

As an NNP you will actively participate in multi-disciplinary rounds, attend high-risk deliveries, work with acute, sub-acute and chronic neonates, as well as active involvement in quality improvements. Work closely with physicians, residents and ancillary staff in an academic setting. 

Work Schedule & Description: 

• Full-time (1.0 FTE)
• Flexible shifts - team self-schedules. 8, 10 & 12 -hour shifts available 
• Charting assistance! Attendings write daily notes
• Teaching and research opportunities
• Level III NICU

Qualifications:

• Experienced (2+ yrs) candidates preferred, but new graduates are welcome to apply
• AZ license, or ability to obtain by start date
• Current BLS and NRP
• Current prescribing privileges including a DEA license for controlled substance. Waived for new graduates
