Oncology Services Nurse Practitioner Opportunity

Mercy Health Lorain, located 30 miles west of Cleveland, has an exciting opportunity for an Oncology Services Nurse Practitioner to assist in the management and navigation of patients to enhance patient access to the full continuum of cancer care from screening, diagnosis, treatment and into survivorship with a focus on our more marginalized communities.  The Nurse Practitioner will also play a critical role in the high-risk breast cancer clinic to help patients reduce their risk of breast cancer.

We are seeking a qualified candidate to join our team and remove barriers to treatment, improve cancer screening rates and support cancer education and outreach.

Required qualifications include:

• Current certified nurse practitioner Ohio license
• Prescriptive authority or eligibility
• Current BLS Certification

Preferred Qualifications:

• AOCN preferred but not mandatory
• Experience in Acute Care, Medical Surgical Nursing and/or physician practice
• Experience with Oncology Care
