As part of our continued growth, Optum is looking for Full-Time Physician Assistant to join our Gastroenterology specialty team in North Orange County. The Clinicians we seek are those who practice medicine with a focus on patient care, not volume.  We want our Clinicians to take the time needed to truly address the patient’s needs.

Position Details:

  • Location: 19066 Magnolia Street, Huntington Beach 92646
  • Schedule: Monday - Friday
  • Initial consults, in office visits and follow up appointments with new and established patients, screenings, plan of care, patient education
  • Appointment Schedule: 30 minutes new consults / 15 minutes for follow ups
  • Network of colleagues
  • Collaborate with Primary Care and Specialists

Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree from a four-year college and/or a professional certification beyond a four-year college.
  • Certificate of completion from Master of Physician Assistant Studies program
  • Current NCCPA Certification required
  • Unrestricted CA PA license
  • Current CA DEA certificate required prior to start date
  • Minimum 1-2 years’ experience in Gastroenterology specialty
  • Excellent patient care and time management skills
  • EMR proficient
