Neurohospitalist Nurse Practitioner Job with Northeast Georgia Health System in Gainesville, GA

Northeast Georgia Physicians Group (NGPG) is seeking compassionate Advanced Practitioners to join our rapidly growing Neurosciences team. This growth opportunity will help facilitate quality based Neurological care for a medically diverse population of over 1.3 million patients in the Northeast Georgia Health System (NGHS) patient service area.      The group fosters a culture inclusive of collegial relationships, supporting 24/7 advanced acute care neurology treatment, focusing on patient driven, quality-based care.    If you have a passion for excellence in patient care, equally competent clinical skills, and are team oriented, you are encouraged to apply.

Opportunity Details:

• Successful candidate will be a member of a 6 APP Neuro CC team
• Neurohospitalist team covers the neuro step-down and medical units across two campuses
• NGPG Neurology includes a team of 9 Outpatient Neurologists and 4 APPs
• 7 days on/7 days off including nights required
• Significant learning opportunities through structured Neuroscience educational sessions, M&M, and GME.
• Rapidly growing Neuroscience service line has doubled in size over the past year and continues to expand volumes, geography, and complexity.
• Comprehensive Stroke Center at our Gainesville campus and Primary Stroke Center at both our Braselton and Barrow campuses

Requirements:

• NP/PA License Required
• Board Certification via AANP or AANC required for Nurse Practitioners
• Acute Care Certification (ACNP or AGACNP) required for NPs.
• Board Certification via NCCPA for Physician Assistants
• Neurology or critical care experience in APP role preferred
