NP/PA Orthopedic Surgery Opportunity in Edenton, NC - Community Practice Model

ECU Health Physicians and ECU Health Orthopedics-Edenton are seeking a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join their practice located in Edenton, North Carolina. Nurse practitioner applicants must have RNFA certification.

• Inpatient and outpatient clinical responsibilities including first assisting
• Shared call
• New state of the art outpatient clinic space including: x-ray, procedure room, onsite EKG machine and lab
• Clinical responsibilities include performing comprehensive H & P exams, formulating treatment plans for orthopedic problems, diagnostic and therapeutic procedures, rounding and assisting in surgery
• Hospitalist program for medical management
• Ability to live and work in a historic waterfront community
• Applicants will be required to have BLS certification from The American Heart Association

ECU HEALTH CHOWAN HOSPITAL

ECU Health Chowan Hospital in Edenton is a 25-bed critical access hospital which provides programs and services to 110,000 people in 6 counties. It offers medical and surgical services, including intensive care, a specialty care clinic and a dedicated outpatient surgery area with endoscopy capabilities. A 7- bed emergency department serves approximately 16,000 patients per year.
