Welcome to Community Health of Central WA (CHCW), where we all work together to provide the people in our region access to affordable and appropriate healthcare through our services and education.  Founded by our Family Medicine Residency program (CWFM) in 1993, CHCW has grown into an integrated community health center to include full spectrum primary care, pediatric, senior and residential care, behavioral and addiction care, and dental serving the Yakima and Kittitas Counties at multiple sites.

Practice Highlights

• Provide primary care/clinical procedures and admin services in outpatient practices within a teaching CHC. 
• Flexible schedules to include 32 hours of patient facing and 8 hours of admin time. Typical schedule 4/10s.
• Expected encounters per day 17-19+ to meet community need. 
• Must have strong clinical training/experience to meet the needs of a complex patient population.
• Our highly collegial Interdisciplinary team includes Faculty Physicians, Clinicians, Resident Physicians, APPs, Pharmacists, BHCs, and nursing.
• Integrated services including primary care behavioral health with BHCs on site.
• Excellent support and resources provided with structured onboarding/ramp-up.
• Working with, and sensitive to a marginalized patient population in a FQHC/CHC setting would be a plus.
• Bilingual in Spanish would be a plus.
• EMR: OCHIN EPIC.

• Base Salary: $120k-$125k DOE and uncapped encounter incentives.  Potential bonus earnings of over $20k p/y based on 19 visits per day.  Bonus increases with increased visits. 

Qualifications

• ARNP, MSN with FNP certification.
• Current, unrestricted RN license.
• WA License or the ability to obtain a WA license.
• DEA certificate.
• Great peer references and in good standing.
• Approved for credentialing with health plans, Medicare, Medicaid.
• Prefer experienced FNPs but new grads with extensive nursing experience in direct patient care in PC/UC , ER/trauma, critical care, med/surg will be considered.
• *If you are a new FNP with an active RN multistate license in another state, you must have graduated less than 12 months ago to be considered. 

• Central WA location has over 300 days of sunshine with 4 mild yet distinctive seasons.
• Area known for its wineries/vineyards, microbreweries, picturesque scenery with panoramic views of Mt. Adams and Mt. Rainier, fishing, camping, skiing, hunting, hiking, biking, water sports, boating, outdoor concerts, parks-including doggie parks, golfing, drive up espresso stands, and one of the top agricultural hubs in the nation.
