Gastroenterology APP (NP or PA) in St. Cloud, MN

CentraCare is hiring a full-time Advanced Practice Provider to the GI team in St. Cloud, joining Central Minnesota's only comprehensive gastroenterology practice!

Responsibilities

As a Gastroenterology Advanced Practice Provider, you will be a member of our collaborative team of Physicians and Providers at the Digestive Center.  In this role, you will manage acute and chronic GI illnesses in adult patients in the inpatient and outpatient setting and promote wellness within this patient population.  In the outpatient setting, you will independently evaluate patients, implement treatments, and manage therapies based upon your assessment of their needs, although the GI team is always available as a resource.  You will see new patient consults and follow-ups as part of routine practice.  In the inpatient setting, you will work with the GI team to care for inpatients. 

Schedule

• 1.0 FTE
• Primarily Monday through Friday day shifts
• In this position you will work in both the outpatient and inpatient setting, splitting time between the Plaza and Hospital
• Approximately every 6^th weekend rounding rotation, consisting of Saturday and Sunday day shifts, with time off the following week
• No call or nights

Requirements

 To be eligible for this position you must meet the following requirements:

• Completion of a formal nurse practitioner or physician assistant program approved by a national accrediting agency
• Certified as a Nurse Practitioner or a Physician Assistant
• Current or pending licensure in the State of Minnesota
• BLS Certification

Experience

Position open to new graduates with relevant work experience.  AGNP certification accepted.
