Brief Description

Join the United States Army Medicine team as a Physician Assistant. As a Physician Assistant, you'll carry out a broad range of diagnostic and therapeutic services for Soldiers and their families. You will perform comprehensive exams and prescribe medications, counsel patients, obtain medical histories, interpret lab tests and x-ray results.

Benefits Include

Active Duty (Full-Time)

  • Loan Repayment: $120,000 in student loan repayment in $40,000 annual payments to qualifying federal student loans paid directly to the lending institution through the Active Duty Health Professions Loan Repayment Program (ADHPLRP).
  • Sign-on Bonus: $60,000 signing bonus for 4 years of service or $37,500 signing bonus for 3 years of service.
  • Incentive Pay: $5,000 paid annually for each successful year of service. $8,000 additional annual bonus as long as board certification maintained.
  • Location: Over 40 locations stateside and several more overseas, including Hawaii, Alaska, Italy, Germany, and Korea.

Requirements Include

  • Certification from National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA)
  • State licensure (any U.S. State)
  • Current unrestricted license to practice medicine in the United States, District of Columbia or Puerto Rico.
  • U.S. citizenship.
