Neonatal Nurse Practitioner | Flexible Scheduling in Tucson, AZ! (POS3454)

Banner University Medicine Tucson is actively interviewing Neonatal Nurse Practitioners to join our Division of Neonatology at Banner - University Medical Center Tucson. This position is involved in support a team of clinical faculty and covering up to 20 patients on the residents-led team, and up to 16 patients on the NNP-led team. Duties include attending all high-risk deliveries, teach/assist/perform procedures including intubations, chest tubes, arterial lines, PICCs, ventilator management, and participate as an NRP instructor. This position requires working closely with Physicians and other clinicians in a multidisciplinary approach to patient care.

Work Schedule & Description: 

• Full-time (1.0 FTE)
• Flexible shifts - team self-schedules. 8, 10, 13 & 24-hour shifts available 
• Charting assistance! Attendings write daily notes
• Teaching and research opportunities

Qualifications:

• Experienced (2+ yrs) candidates preferred, but new graduates are welcome to apply
• AZ license, or ability to obtain by start date
• Current BLS and NRP
• Current prescribing privileges including a DEA license for controlled substance. Waived for new graduates
