Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant - Emergency Medicine - Chicago, IL

We are seeking a  Board-Certified Experienced Emergency Medicine Nurse Practitioners or Physician Assistants  for  full-time Employed  positions to join our group, Illinois Emergency Medicine Specialists (IEMS). Work schedule includes at least  120 hours of coverage per month  and will be cross credentialed at our UChicago Medicine AdventHealth sites. Must have at least one year of advance practice emergency medicine experience.

For more than 30 years, IEMS has provided quality-driven and compassionate emergency medicine services to the UChicago Medicine AdventHealth system. IEMS presently supports the emergency departments at UChicago Medicine AdventHealth Bolingbrook, Glen Oaks, Hinsdale, La Grange, as well as Resilience Healthcare West Suburban and Weiss locations representing nearly 200,000 annual patient visits. 

IEMS is a LOCAL physician group dedicated to the success of each emergency department they serve. IEMS’ regional and national resources support their ability to continue to provide customized value-added services to the hospitals and communities they serve.

• 21,000 square foot Emergency Department

• Approximately 32,000 visits annually

Glen Oaks Medical Center is a 143-bed hospital that has been serving the community for over 40 years and is less than an hour from downtown Chicago. In addition to a full spectrum of modern-day health care, Glen Oaks Medical Center also provides services within a therapeutic day school and Hepatitis C clinic.

La Grange Medical Center is a 186-bed hospital that has been serving the community since 1955 and is less than 30 minutes from downtown Chicago. University-Level care at a suburban scale. Full spectrum of modern-day health care including robotic assisted surgeries, orthopedic care, and heart & vascular care. 

Resilience Healthcare, Michigan based healthcare system who has been serving local communities for over two decades recently purchased both Weiss Memorial Hospital and West Suburban Medical Center. 

Weiss Memorial Hospital is a 236 bed hospital in the uptown community of downtown Chicago since 1952 and is only 6 miles from downtown Chicago. Full spectrum of modern-day healthcare including state-of-the art diagnostic and treatment options, extensive orthopedic, spine, podiatry and gynecology services (transgender confirmation surgery and gynecology reconstructive surgery. 

West Suburban Medical Center is a 334 bed hospital in the Oak Park community in Cook County serving  for over 100 years and is only 9 miles from downtown Chicago.  Full spectrum of modern-day healthcare including state-of-the art diagnostic and treatment options, women's OB, heart and stroke care, to orthopedic and bariatric surgery.
