Advanced Practice Provider - Inpatient Behavioral Health

Sentara Medical Group has an employment position available for a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join Sentara Inpatient Behavioral Health Specialists, located in Harrisonburg, VA. Nicknamed "The Friendly City", Harrisonburg is surrounded by some of the most spectacular mountain ranges and outdoor recreation in Virginia and is only 2 hours from Washington, DC.

Position Highlights:

• Team of 2 MDs, 1 NP
• Monday Friday; 8:00a-5:00p
• 100% Inpatient, 20 bed unit, ages 18+
• Partner with Physicians for initial assessments, monitor daily progress, and discharges
• Provide medication management and psychotherapy when appropriate
• Partner with care coordination teams, families, and patients
• Assess and manage crisis situations
• No Call or Weekends
