Job Summary

Novant Health is looking for a compassionate, caring Advanced Practice Provider to join an established, growing, collaborative Pulmonary & Critical Care team. This position is a Hybrid position and will spend 50% of its time seeing in the hospital alongside a board-certified Critical Care Physician and 50% of the time seeing patients in the pulmonary clinic independently. This position does not require call coverage.

Opportunity Highlights:
  • Work alongside an experienced team of Critical Care physicians and APPs for our 3 acute care facilities and 2 outpatient clinics located in the Triad Region
  • Using evidence-based processes through a multidisciplinary approach
  • Dynamic Pulmonology and Intensivist program with a hybrid role spanning both inpatient and outpatient care; while functioning independently in the outpatient setting, the APP will have direct access to a supervising physician for guidance and collaboration.

Candidate Qualifications:
  • Education: Master's Degree required. Either a graduate of an NCCPA accredited physician assistant program, or NP or post Master's NP program required. Acute Care certification required for NPs.
  • Licensure/Certification/Registration: Current PA or NP license in appropriate state required. NCCPA or registry with state nursing board, ACLS, DEA registry required.

Responsibilities & Duties:
  • Admissions/Consults/Rounding/Discharge rotation
  • Schedule: Inpatient: 7am-4pm Outpatient: 8am-5pm
