Job Description

Providence Cancer Institute of Oregon is seeking a full-time Advanced Practice Clinician (NP or PA) to join our Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery practice. We are dedicated to helping patients restore form and function through advanced surgical techniques. This role requires proficiency in clinic, hospital, and operating room settings, supporting patients throughout their surgical journey. The ideal candidate is a team player who thrives in a fast-paced environment, is passionate about reconstructive surgery, and is eager to grow with our expanding practice.

  • Inpatient and outpatient setting, full-time at 1.0 FTE
  • 4/10-hour days, Monday thru Friday work week
  • Call approximately 1-2 weekends a month and 1 night a week.

  • CLINICAL DUTIES:
  • Conduct preoperative visits, including patient evaluation and education.
  • Manage postoperative care, wound care, and perform minor surgical interventions.
  • Serve as a key resource for patient questions, ensuring a seamless experience from consultation to recovery.
  • Provide support to nurses and office staff.
  • Round, manage and discharge postop patients.
  • First-assist in surgery.
  • Ensure efficient OR workflow by preparing instrument availability, supply orders, and anticipating surgical needs.
