Providence Elderplace is looking for an Associate Medical Director Nurse Practitioner to take on the role of clinical education lead. This new position is ideal for a Nurse Practitioner with a robust background in clinical or educational medicine, particularly with experience in geriatric care. The individual in this role will be instrumental in shaping and developing the position. The responsibilities are divided equally, with 0.5 FTE dedicated to clinical duties and 0.5 FTE allocated to administrative tasks. Key responsibilities for this role include delivering continuous clinical training to staff, maintaining high standards of clinical excellence, creating and implementing a training curriculum, mentoring new providers, performing clinical chart reviews, and ensuring compliance with documentation requirements. Providence ElderPlace is a distinctive PACE program in Oregon, providing a wide range of comprehensive care services for older adults, including medical care, housing, and socialization support. The program focuses on collaboration among a full healthcare team to ensure high standards of care. What sets us apart is that we not only offer all medical services to our participants (as we refer to them due to their active engagement with the program), but we also provide housing, health insurance, medication benefits, and essential socialization opportunities through our attached Day centers.
