Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner - Heart Institute

Providence has a per diem opportunity for a physician assistant or nurse practitioner to join the Heart Institute of Montana in Missoula. Currently, the surgeons perform over 400 open heart cases per year and are supported by a dedicated team of PA's, nurses, surgical technicians and other clinical/clerical office staff. There is also a robust structural heart program that collaborates between interventional cardiology and cardiothoracic surgery physicians. This is an excellent opportunity to be part of a world-renowned heart center while enjoying a great work-life balance in the heart of the Rockies.

• Possible on call opportunities
• 10 hour shifts with possible weekends and on call
• Proficient skills in endoscopic vein and radial harvest
• Experience assisting in complex valve and bypass surgeries
• Support the surgeons in the operating room during cardiac and thoracic surgeries
• Participate in daily management during the postoperative period
