Emergency Medicine APP

CHI St Alexius is hiring an Emergency Medicine Advanced Practice Provider (NP or PA) for weekend coverage at Garrison Memorial Hospital, critical access facility.  This is an excellent opportunity to expand your skills and gain valuable experience treating patients of all ages in a dynamic emergency room setting. 

Opportunity: 

• Join a team that consists of 1 physician and 4 APPs covering the following:
• ?ED consults, triage, and medical care supported by Avel eCare telemedicine
• IP hospital:  Round, admit, and manage health needs of patients with a significant range of complex and co-morbid disease conditions
• Unrestricted call/call back 8am Friday to 8am Monday or occasional holiday coverage

Qualifications:

• Ability to obtain ND licensure
• A Master's or Doctorate degree and certification by an accrediting body
• Must have, or ability to obtain, BLS, ACLS, PALS, and ATLS
• Clinical experience in emergency medicine, urgent care and/or primary care with minimum of 2 years experience is preferred

CHI St. Alexius Health Garrison includes the services of a 22-bed critical access hospital, a 28-bed skilled nursing facility, an attached rural health clinic, and a newly remodeled Emergency Department that is available 24 hours a day. We offer many outpatient services, including physical therapy, radiology services, laboratory services, cardiac rehabilitation, and IV treatments. The hospital is equipped with 4 emergency rooms, on-site lab, radiology, CT and physical therapy services. Our patients have access to 24/7 emergency care, swing-bed programs, and acute care services. CHI St. Alexius Health Garrison is a National Health Service Corps provider participant.

• American Board Certified or Board Eligible in Specified Area of Medical Specialty
