APRN Provider: Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility

The Division of Obstetrics & Gynecology at MetroHealth Medical Center, Case Western Reserve University is seeking applications for a Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility Nurse Practitioner to join our division.

 

Summary:

Educates patients about their fertility options. Works with physicians to perform physical examinations, ultrasounds, and scans. Collects and sends blood samples for testing. Communicates with patients, conducts interviews, and gathers medical histories.

Delivers direct patient care consistent with the advanced practice registered nurse’s education, experience and certification, in collaboration with a physician, which includes diagnosis, management and/or referral of health care issues. Promotes consumer, family, and community health through preventative health care actions and through patient advocacy. The advanced practice registered nurse may also manage complex illnesses and/or deliver specialty care.

 

Required Qualifications:

  • Completion of an accredited Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner program (other licensures accepted when paired with at least one year of OB/GYN experience).
  • At least one year of advanced practice experience or RN with OB/GYN experience
  • American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) certification American Society for Reproductive Medicine (ASRM) certification
  • Active, unrestricted Ohio APN license

 

Preferred Qualifications:

      • Three years of experience in REI as a nurse practitioner or registered nurse
      • Women’s Health nursing experience: At least one year in an OB/GYN setting
