Seeking Experienced Hospitalist Physician Assistant / Nurse Practitioner

Hospital
- 124-bed community hospital
- Sister site of Reston Hospital and team works on both sites
- Comprehensive range of medical services, including a full-service, 24/7 emergency department and extensive diagnostic imaging and interventional radiology capabilities
Emergency Department
- ED Volume: 20,000
- ED Beds:15
- 16-bed behavioral health unit
- ED Admission Rate: 13%
- Staffing Model: Single provider, APP shift per day
- EMR: Meditech
- Special equipment/highlights/details include 24/7 in-house ob-gyn, anesthesiology, hospitalist, CT, excellent lab turn around times
- 20% of patients are PED
- Qualifications: board certified/ eligible
Hospitalist Services
- Average daily census of 27 patients
- Open ICU with on-call Intensivist, no procedures required
- Five full-time physicians and two full-time APPs
- Staffed with one physician and one APP daily
- Seven days on/off; 7:00 a.m. - 7:00 p.m.; 7:00 p.m. - 7:00 a.m.
