Riley Hospital for Children is seeking a dedicated Certified Anesthesiologist Assistant or Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist to collaborate with our Pediatric Anesthesiology team in Indianapolis, IN!
Position Details:
- Full-time, salaried role with overtime opportunities available (7:00am-5:00pm)
- In-house call split between dedicated night team and rotating day/night team
- Join a large and supportive team of 30 Pediatric Anesthesiologists and 23 Pediatric CRNA and CAAs
- 50/50 mix of inpatient and outpatient responsibilities
- Perform pre-anesthetic prep and evaluation, anesthesia induction, maintenance and emergence, post-anesthesia care and peri-anesthetic clinical support functions under direction of anesthesiologist.
- Anesthesia related procedures (including but not limited to):
- IV placement
- Airway management
- Arterial & central catheter placement
- General & regional anesthesia
- Neuraxial anesthesia
Qualifications:
- Certified Anesthesiologist Assistant:
- Must have graduated with a Master’s degree from a CAAHEP accredited Anesthesiologist Assistant Program
- Must have passed the Certifying Examination for Anesthesiologist Assistants or the CDQ examination and hold current certification
- Must have completed pediatric clinical rotation in training
- Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist:
- Must have graduated from Master’s level Nurse Anesthesia program accredited by the Council on Accreditation of Nurse Anesthesia Educational Programs
- Must have passed the National Certification Examination and hold current certification from the Council of Certification of Nurse Anesthetists
- Must have completed pediatric clinical rotation in training
- Must hold current ACLS and PALS certifications
- Licensed or eligible for licensure in Indiana
