PRN Urgent Care APP - Shawnee, OK

SSM Health is seeking an experienced urgent care nurse practitioner or physician assistant for a PRN employed practice in Shawnee, OK.  A competitive hourly rate and malpractice insurance provided with no other benefits.

Job Highlights:

• Shifts are 7a-7p Monday-Friday; Saturday/Sunday are 9a-5p
• Provide coverage on as needed basis when full-time providers are out
• Ability to cover shifts at our Harrison St. Urgent Care facility as well as Pediatric Express Clinic
• Ability to see patients every 15 minutes
• 2-3 providers are scheduled per shift
• Onsite imagery and lab
• Collaborative Team
• Supportive Leadership

This clinic sees acute care patients for illness and injury. It also treats patients with multiple chronic co-morbidities with acute illnesses such as COVID-19, flu, and pneumonia. A successful provider will also need to perform procedures such as suturing, I&D, foreign body removal, splinting/casting, and interpreting X-rays.

• Certified Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner
• Minimum of one-year experience working in urgent care or acute care setting
• Licensed as a PA or NP in the State of Oklahoma
