As part of our nocturnist team, you will play a critical role in managing acute care needs, admissions, and patient evaluations during overnight hours.

Position Highlights

• Schedule: 3 nights per week, 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
• Monthly Hours: 144 hours per month
• Primary Location: Mercy Health – St. Charles Hospital
• Additional Locations: Opportunity to pick up shifts at Mercy Health St. Vincent, Mercy Health St. Anne, and Perrysburg
• Responsibilities Include:
• Direct patient care, admissions, and history & physicals (H&Ps)
• Assisting with rapid response calls and collaborating with the emergency department
• Geographical rounding and consultation with subspecialists
• Partnering with a multidisciplinary team to enhance patient outcomes

What We’re Looking For

• Experience: ICU/Critical Care experience preferred, but new graduates will be considered
• Certification: Board-certified APC (Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant)
• Skills: Strong clinical acumen, ability to work independently, and a collaborative mindset
