Quincy Medical Group (QMG) is seeking a skilled and compassionate Advanced Practice Provider (APP) to join our Internal Medicine team at Dr. Imran Shaikh's office.
- As an integral member of the Internal Medicine team, you will conduct patient assessments, perform physical exams, and develop treatment plans.
- You will diagnose and manage acute and chronic medical conditions, prescribe medications, order diagnostic tests, and interpret results.
- Your role will also involve providing education and counseling to patients and families on health management and preventive care.
- Working collaboratively with a multi-disciplinary team, you will ensure optimal patient outcomes while maintaining accurate and thorough documentation.
- 4 or 4.5 day workweek; Flexible work schedule designed to meet personal and professional needs.
- Outpatient IM clinic; No call or walk-in clinic responsibilities.
- Dr. Shaikh sees Internal Medicine, Sleep Medicine, and Obesity Medicine patients.
- QMG's Maine Primary Care Team consists of 13 Family Medicine Physicians, 6 Internal Medicine Physicians, and 6 Advanced Practice Providers.
- Epic EHR.

- The anticipated base compensation range for this position is $100,000 - $110,000, depending upon the applicant’s qualifications and experience. In addition to the base compensation, this position may also be eligible for a sign-on bonus and relocation bonus equaling a total target cash compensation that may be between $110,000 - $150,000.

- The ideal candidate will be a compassionate and detail-oriented healthcare professional with a commitment to patient-centered care.
- A Master’s degree in Nursing (for NPs) or completion of an accredited Physician Assistant program is required, along with current licensure as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant in the state of Illinois.
- National certification as a Nurse Practitioner (ANCC, AANP) or Physician Assistant (NCCPA) is required, as is Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- While previous experience in Internal Medicine or primary care is preferred, it is not required.
